Okay, so my cats are just so gosh-darn lovable I had to share them with you...
This is Champ... taken last Christmas at our place in Ottawa. He's our big fat lazy Garfield cat, who likes wear my shoes. Yup, he often falls asleep with his paws stretched into my shoes. When we first adopted him, he was mean - he'd attack you for no reason at all. He's settled down a lot, and is a pretty big suck up now (to people).

His favorite game is tormenting our other cat, Tigger. Even when she sleeps - that's his favorite time to attack. And eating. Anything. He's actually chubbier now than when these pics were taken, despite all the time he spends chasing Tigger around the appartment.

And this is Tigger - the good cat. My cat. She is pretty much devoted to just me (hense, why she is the good cat, lol!). She loves eye contact (she constantly repositions herself to make sure she has my full attention) and cuddling. She will run and hide behind me when Champ attacks her - she never fights back. Such a prissy little girl cat - she doesn't have a mean bone in her body! She doens't care for company much, and other than Nate, she doesn't like boys. She will get up and move if they try to pet her. She's a bit of a snob.
When we first got together, Nate didn't care for cats much at all. I love them. I think they are great company & I like how they are affectionate & independant at the same time. I had 2 of my own when we started dating. And then friends of ours decided to get rid of Champ because they were moving and just had a baby. Nate was the one who wanted Champ to come home with us. So for awhile we had 3 cats, until I had to put Sammy down (14 years old).
But now, bedtime isn't complete if Tig & Champ aren't in the room with us. Pretty funny how things change. Guess Nate likes cats after all.
